The iPhone app blocker built for sleep
Sunbreak locks your apps at bedtime — and the moment you cheat, your accountability partners get an email. Willpower fails at midnight. Social pressure doesn't.
iPhone

It's midnight. You said you'd stop an hour ago. Tomorrow you'll be exhausted. Again.
The scroll
That quick check turns into two hours. Every single night.
The morning
Your alarm feels like a personal attack because you were up until 1 AM.
The bypass
Screen Time has a bypass button. Your brain will always press it at midnight.
Features
Six features. One job: get you off your phone and into bed.
Name a friend when you sign up. Break bedtime and they get an email — automatically. This is the part that works when willpower didn't.
Every app locks at bedtime and stays locked until sunrise. No bypass button to talk yourself into.
Apps unlock with the real sunrise at your location. Your morning starts on your terms.
Your phone sounds an alarm if you pick it up during bedtime. Put it down and it stops.
Guided breathing exercises before bed. Ease into sleep instead of doom-scrolling into it.
Track your consistency night after night. Build momentum and watch the streak grow.

You're losing 2h 30m every night.

Apps lock at bedtime. Automatic.

Cheat, and your friends find out.

For years my sleep was a disaster. Whoop measured the damage night after night — 52% sleep consistency, bedtimes after 1 AM, mornings where my alarm felt like an attack.
I tried Screen Time. Tapped “Ignore Limit” the same night I set it up. I tried Opal, Freedom, putting my phone across the room, even leaving it in another room. Every solution had a bypass, and at midnight my brain found it within minutes.
So I built the version I actually needed: an app that locks my phone at bedtime, doesn’t let me argue with myself, and unlocks at the real sunrise. No override button. No 1 AM negotiation.
It worked on me first. Now it’s helping a small group of users sleep better too — and that’s who I’m building this for.
